Islamic World Domination

September 5, 2010 |14:49 | Islam  By : Team X

The question is not whether terrorism is now a world-wide reality, but why is terrorism happening at all? And, is it possible to thwart the activities of the Islamic extremists?

To understand how to deal with an enemy, one must first seek to understand the issues. What is their motivation? Do they have a goal?

Who are these people? Why are they willing to go to such desperate lengths? Why are their own lives apparently expendable? Why do they target innocent civilians who have no direct conflict with them, and have no understanding of their agenda? Why attack office towers? Why attack buses carrying innocent, unarmed civilians? Why disguise themselves as normal passengers, or shoppers, or college students? Why hide in the everyday crowd, then attempt to perpetrate as much carnage and damage as possible? How do you fight an enemy you cannot identify until it is too late?

Why are all these attacks committed by Islamic adherents? Is this only coincidence, as some would make us believe? Would it not be expedient to pay some attention to the Islamic religious orientation, and ask some searching questions?

In our multi-cultural democratic society we embrace diversity. On the surface this is an applaudable virtue. However, the Islamic terrorists are taking advantage of our propensity to be accepting, and are wielding our ideological "freedom for all" against us! They hide within their own religious people, most of whom, on the surface at least, appear to be peaceful. They also know it is unacceptable for the rest of the western democratic population to single out one religion for vilification. While we are busy bending over backward to make certain religious freedom is available to all, those of a religious orientation that desires to destroy all other religions, operate from within that freedom and safety to wage war against us.

Islamic Holy Hadys

September 1, 2010 |20:18 | Islam  By : Team X

Islamic Holy Hadys: There are only two Muslim festivals set down in Islamic law: Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha ( Eid is a word significance for festival). But there are also several other unique days which Muslims celebrate. Some Muslims disapprove of commemorateing the birthday of the Prophet (pbuh), on the grounds that it is an innovation, and novelty in religious matters are prohibited.

Some Muslims say that if amended were made in sacred issues it would entail that Islam was not absolute when it was exposed to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), or that the Prophet (pbuh) did not tell Muslims everything that was revealed to him. This would be seen as extremely irreverent by many Muslims.

Praying in congregation is a great aspect in our religion. Everyone should attend: its reward is twenty seven times greater than = that which is performed individually. The Prophet (peace be on him) was just about to burn the houses on those who did not attend = the congregational prayers. Universality of Religions

April 20, 2010 |18:43 | Christianity | Hinduism | Islam  By : Team X

Universality of ReligionsAll religions accept that evil and suffering have been allowed by God for some inherent purpose. Apparently suffering seems to be an evil but it really isn't evil because it has some moral purpose behind it.

(Both Judaism and Islam holds that God has allowed evil and suffering to test the intensity and sincerity of faith that man possesses towards Him. The father God, of Christianity uses the stick of suffering to discipline his sons).

As to the cause of evil they all tend to hold a devil, with all his evil spirits responsible. (In Zoroastrianism this devil is called "Ahriman", in Judaism and Christianity "Satan" and in Islam "Iblis")

Religion at work - A growing number of discrimination cases center on employees' beliefs

April 15, 2010 |17:58 | Christianity | Hinduism | Islam  By : Team X

For the past 20 years, Samuel Cordes has made his living representing clients alleging discrimination from their employers for reasons such as age, race or gender. But in the last few years, his mix of cases has changed: an increasing proportion is now coming from religious discrimination. "It's coming up a lot more," said the Downtown-based employment lawyer. "Until 2001, I bet I didn't have more than one a year."

Religion at work A growing number of discrimination cases center on employees beliefs

Right now, Mr. Cordes is working on five religious discrimination cases. Nationally, religious discrimination charges by the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission rose from 1,939 in 2000 to 2,572 in 2002 and have remained roughly at that level ever since. In 2006, the EEOC reported 2,541 charges of religious discrimination.

"There are far more of them than you read about," said John Myers, chair of the labor and employment department at Downtown-based law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott. "In 25 years, I never had a case involving an Islamic employee and in the last couple of years, I've observed more decisions and personally picked up a handful of cases."

Islamic Awareness Week sheds light on religion

April 15, 2010 |10:04 | Islam  By : Team X

Although the Muslim Student Association’s Islamic Awareness Week may be coming to a close, members of the organization want the lines of communication between those of different faiths to remain open. The group set up a tent outside Brower Commons on the College Avenue campus Monday to kick off four days of Islamic enlightenment.

“We are here to dispel any misconceptions or any stereotypes about Islam,” said Shakil Shaikh, a member of the Muslim Student Association. “Some of the questions that come up immediately are topics such as women in Islam, the word ‘jihad’ that gets thrown around incorrectly these days, and we are just trying to teach people what the true meaning of these words are.

For the Love of Islam

March 13, 2010 |09:08 | Islam  By : Team X

Last Easter, Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, a 31-year-old mom with a $30,000-a-year job as a medical assistant, announced to her family that she had converted to Islam. A few months later, she began posting to Facebook forums whose headings included "STOP caLLing MUSLIMS TERRORISTS!"

On Sept. 11, she suddenly left Leadville, Colo., a small town in the Rocky Mountains, for Denver, then for New York, to meet and marry a Muslim man she connected with online, her family says. Ms. Paulin-Ramirez, who is 5-foot-11 and blonde, phoned her mother and stepfather in Leadville, providing them with an address in Waterford, Ireland, they say. Now, she is in the custody of the Irish police, along with six other individuals, arrested as part of an investigation into a conspiracy to commit murder, according to officials familiar with the case. The nature of the authorities' suspicions about Ms. Paulin-Ramirez couldn't be determined on Friday. Ms. Paulin-Ramirez's interest in Islam "came out of left field," said her mother, Christine Holcomb-Mott, in an interview at her home Friday, wearing a blue sweatsuit with a silver cross around her neck.  "I'm angry with her right now," Ms. Holcomb-Mott said. "I'd like to just choke her. But I'm worried about her, too. I love my daughter.

Divisions in Islam - The Fight Within the Faith

March 5, 2010 |09:22 | Islam  By : Team X

Islam is a complex religion, which according to CAIR (Council on American-Islamic relations), has 1.200 billion followers from every race and every century in the world. It has survived persecutions, subjugation and defamation since its founding by the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) in 1440ad. Since its founding, different sects and ideologies have spread from the original peaceful teachings over 1,000 years ago.

One of the most media popular sects in Islam is the Shia's, they display their feelings of the Prophets brothers death by a ritual self-mutilation. This is expressed in ways such as taking sharp or bladed instruments and repetitively tapping their heads and/or body, even after they are bleeding. Though this display and personal expression of Islam may seem extreme but it is not any person's place to say how one should follow their religion. There is guidance and there is personal expression.
